What is Fabrication?
Fabrication is used to describe the many processes that take a raw material and manipulate it into a finished product. This term is industrial and the finished products are generally used to build machines or structures. Various forms of metal are the most common materials used for fabrication, but other materials such as plastics and composite materials may also be used.
The fabrication process involves a lot of planning in order to be successful. Computer programs are beneficial to removing much of the time needed to figure out small details and speed up the processes necessary to take raw materials and turn them into an end product.
